It follows Hamilton's rise from an orphan to a key figure in the American Revolution and the early U.S. government, culminating in his fatal duel with Aaron Burr. The show, based on Ron Chernow's biography, won numerous awards, including 11 Tony Awards, a Grammy, and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
